We are having very hot days in Dallas. Hot outside, South-pole-coldness
inside the building. This is the Dallas Summer!
The other day, I went to Dallas County Health and Human Services to take
several vaccination. I received a list of vaccination I should take before
entering the school, and the list was long. I took 5 shots at once and TB
test. Total 6 injection a day! The scenery of many syringes laying on the
table made me laugh, and every time a bandage was put on, it made me
laugh. The shots themselves were very painful, but I tried not to laugh at
loud trying not to cry. It was emotionally busy 15 minutes. Very soon, I
need to take 2nd shots of some vaccination.
The other day, Dallas had massive hail storm. Fortunately, my area did
not have very serious problem, but still it was scary. And all the cars
parked outside had hail damages.
Recent hot days are giving significant damage to cars, too. I see a lot of
pieces of tires on freeway which was left from bursting. My tires were
very old and I was thinking I needed to change them very soon to prevent
any danger, but I had not decided yet because of the cost. BUT. The other
day, the car next to me on freeway suddenly made big sound and the tire
got burst. I was so surprised by the sound and the pieces of tires flying
towards me, and also I was so scared to imagine what if it were me...
And I rushed to the tire store and finally changed the tires.
It was very interesting to know how they change the tires. And I noticed
that there is another job I definitely cannot do here. Everything they were
carrying looked so--- heavy.
Now my car got new shiny tires and looks very happy!
